It's possible, but you'd have to take some measurements and check with a dealer. I would suggest bringing it to a welding fabrication shop. Would probably be cheaper and you can customize it the way you want.

No welder in his right legal mind would mess with altering an Osha certified rops. When you weld or alter the rops after purchase, you are changing the temper and quality of the metal. I know a lot of people do it, but it doesn't mean they know what they are doing. ....

Mark L has a point. Around here welding shops will not work on any part of a trailer hitch unless they have special certification and extra coverage from their insurance.

Several shops refused to weld a receiver to a drawbar for me, even though it was pretty obvious it was not going to be used on a highway type vehicle. They couldn't risk having their insurance canceled. ....

The dealer had a guy that builds rops for all kinds of new and used tractors...they said he would call me a few weeks ago...I hade all but given up ...then he called to day and came out ...he does so many of thes he has the parts alredy to weld on the rops and put a very heavy hindge with pins on mt TC-30 all I had to do was paint it black and pay him the $210 bucks...the dealer said it dosent affect any part of the tractor warranty and is stronger than the factory ROPS ....now it fits any place I want to park it and I wont be hitting the gutters and trees as I mow.... ....

Boatman the welders name is Jim Hope His #is 503 632-8203 he has a shop and a mobile truck....Im sure you could take your rops off or bring the whole tractor ...it took him about 3 hours to do it .... ....
